Drawing on selected pilot regions, this study explores Anatolia’s rich folk clothing culture through a broad comparative framework. Grounded in fieldwork conducted with key informants and meticulous examination of original garments, the work constructs a visual inventory documenting pieces in their entirety through artistic representation and capturing their structural details through technical drawings. Analyses of the fabrics, weaving techniques, and embroidery methods prevalent in Anatolian folk dress further illuminate regional variations and cross-cultural exchanges.
