Submission of the Work

The preliminary submission is evaluated by the ITU Publications Coordination Office, and the author is contacted within 30 days at the latest. If a positive evaluation is given, the author is asked to submit the completed work within 3 months at the latest. The completed work should include sections on Abbreviations, Bibliography, and Index. Following the ITU Publishing House Book Writing Template while preparing your work will significantly speed up the layout process.

Peer Review Process

The completed work is sent to two reviewers by the Publications Coordination Office; the evaluation period is determined according to the number of pages in the work. If the reviewers request corrections, the author is asked to make the necessary corrections. The corrected work is re-evaluated by the reviewer(s) within 15 days at the latest; if necessary, further correction notifications are sent to the author. After the completion of the reviewer approvals, the reviewer recommendations must be fully reflected in the work.

Text Review

After the peer review process is complete, the author is required to have their work reviewed by an editor. This process can be carried out either by the author using a professional editing service or by the author personally performing the necessary language and content review. ITU Publishing House does not offer editing services. Proofreading and editing are the author's responsibility and must be carried out to professional standards in accordance with the Turkish Language Association's (TDK) spelling rules.

Publication

The final version of the work, after the editor's review, is submitted to the publishing house. The work is evaluated in terms of spelling and content; the final publication decision is finalized with the approval of the Editorial Board, and the result is communicated to the author. Following the publication decision, the layout and cover design process begins and is completed in approximately 2 months.
