Established institutional within the ITU Faculty of Architecture with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency, Taşkışla Design LAB aims to build a sustainable collaboration ecosystem between academia, industry, and civil society. Operating with the vision of strengthening design-oriented creative industries and contributing to urban development policies, the LAB provides a foundation for students to go beyond academic boundaries, generate projects with high commercialization potential, and acquire interdisciplinary competencies. Offering a guiding model for public universities and other faculties, this study serves as a resource that documents the collective effort of the stakeholders contributing to the project and the unique collaboration models developed, bringing them into the literature.
